Early Magazine CoversThis is a magazine cover coming from the mid 1700's. This is a very early edition of what was called a magazine, even though it doesn't appear much like todays magazine covers that we know. The so called cover wasn't really what i call a cover but the table of contents, the table of contents is the front page.
The Poster Cover
This cover is from the year "1929", a magazine that is filled with outdoor activities and much more about the outdoor life. The cover is much more updated and as a painted photo of a lynx. There is still somewhat differences in this cover with todays magazine.
Pictures Married To TypeA cover in the 1940's-1950's, very deatiled as in wording and pictures used or picked for the cover. In this time the front cover photo had a quote or "caption" that went with the photo. Various color and wording were used for advertisment and to grab the peoples attention.
In The Forest Of WordsNow this is a much better update on how todays magazine looks like. MANY advertisment is used all over the cover and a bold title for the company of the magazine, to show where the magazine is coming from.
